Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is situated in the heart of the historical center of Bologna, allowing us to make the most of our short visit. The rooms, despite ongoing refurbishments, were spacious and comfortable, but the lack of sound insulation was a downside. The bar area outside was exceptional for relaxation.
The hotel exceeded our expectations with its classy, spacious rooms, and fantastic service from the reception and breakfast staff. The central location made it easy to explore the city, and the overall experience was cozy and clean. However, the dining options were a bit poor in variety, and some aspects could be improved.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms had issues with letting in light early in the morning, making it hard for me to sleep. Despite the room being spacious and at a good temperature, I felt it was more on par with a motel than a hotel. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when it came to providing recommendations for dining and activities in Bologna. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the city, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. However, the dining options, particularly the fresh pastry at breakfast, were below average. While the overall experience had some flaws, I appreciated the effort put in by the staff to make my stay enjoyable.
When I first arrived, the room was a bit dim and could have used more light, with very little task lighting. However, the hotel is recommended for visiting Bologna. The service was extremely helpful, especially when our return flight got canceled. They changed the towels daily, cleaned the bathroom well, and the overall service was amazing. The location is perfect, right next to everything central with great dining options nearby. The dining experience had its ups and downs, being typically Italian with a decent selection, and the cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. The facilities were good overall.
The hotel has a great location in the historic center of Bologna, just a few minutes away from the towers and the squares. The rooms are quite large and comfortable, but they lack some additional seating. The service was nice overall, with some minor issues that were resolved promptly. The dining options were good with a wide variety available, but not catering to all tastes. The hotel offers a fantastic spot for exploring the city while providing comfortable accommodation.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had a nice outlook and good size, overlooking the Bologna rooftops, but there was a strange smell and the shower and TV were poor. The location was perfect, well insulated from noise and very central, making it easy to explore Bologna. The service was super friendly and professional, though there were some strange moments with empty containers being checked repeatedly. The dining experience was adequate, not brilliant, with some repetitive options. Overall, the hotel was enough as a bed and breakfast with some room for improvement.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with clean and tidy rooms, though a bit dark for my taste. The service was fantastic, especially with Giada at the front desk who helped me during check-in. The location was excellent, close to the city center and major attractions. The dining options were a bit limited, but the traditional food was good. Overall, a great value for money stay.
The hotel had a charming room with tasteful decor and furnishings, good lighting, and effective air conditioning, larger than expected. The service was friendly but lacked information about the city. The location was excellent, close to the city center and convenient for exploring. The dining offered traditional options but lacked variety. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with minor drawbacks.
I stayed at this hotel and found it to be a functional, clean, and comfortable option at a reasonable cost. The rooms were small but very cozy, warm, quiet, and spotless, even though they lacked a kettle. The service was friendly and accommodating overall with good English skills, though there were some incidents of grumpy behavior. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the city yet peaceful, with easy access to major attractions and the university quarter. The dining experience was average, and the facilities were satisfactory.
