The hotel is situated in the heart of the historical center of Bologna, allowing us to make the most of our short visit. The rooms, despite ongoing refurbishments, were spacious and comfortable, but the lack of sound insulation was a downside. The bar area outside was exceptional for relaxation.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms had issues with letting in light early in the morning, making it hard for me to sleep. Despite the room being spacious and at a good temperature, I felt it was more on par with a motel than a hotel. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when it came to providing recommendations for dining and activities in Bologna. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the city, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. However, the dining options, particularly the fresh pastry at breakfast, were below average. When I first arrived, the room was a bit dim and could have used more light, with very little task lighting. However, the hotel is recommended for visiting Bologna. The service was extremely helpful, especially when our return flight got canceled. They changed the towels daily, cleaned the bathroom well, and the overall service was amazing. The location is perfect, right next to everything central with great dining options nearby. The dining experience had its ups and downs, being typically Italian with a decent selection, and the cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. The facilities were good overall.
